Just ahead of Tuesday's media event, a number of new Apple Lightning accessories popped up on the radar -- and all but two of them have already turned up on the company's online store.
Engadget is reporting that Apple's online store is already offering up some of the accessories leaked just prior to the iPad mini unveil on Tuesday -- but you'll have to be patient if you want them.
First up are the Lightning adapters, with a new Lightning to VGA Adapter and Lightning Digital AV Adapter each selling for $49. While these are available for purchase today, at this writing the Apple online store shows an available to ship date of two to three weeks, hopefully you don't need them immediately.
Currently missing in action entirely is the Lightning equivalent of the Camera Connector Kit, which Apple VP Phil Schiller briefly showed off at yesterday's event. Unlike the 30-pin version sold for $29, it appears camera buffs will have to shell out separately for the Lightning versions, which the leaked SKU suggests will cost $29 each.
The Lightning versions of these adapters also come with a short cable rather than simply being a widget you plug into the device, available in either USB or SD flavors.
Apple is also selling an updated version of its $19 iPad USB Power Adapter, which now puts out 12W of energy instead of the previous 10W. The adapter is compatible with all currently-shipping iOS devices, and should get your iPad charged even faster than before. Best of all, they're available to ship in one to three business days.
