Admit it: You were mildly amused when actor Charlie Sheen kicked off his very public meltdown. But let’s face it, three weeks later and the whole thing has seriously worn out its welcome. If you’ve had enough, a new Firefox or Chrome plugin called “Tinted Sheen” may offer you some much-needed relief.
Digital Life on Today is reporting that a young developer named Greg Leuch has created Tinted Sheen, The Charlie Sheen Browser Blocker -- a plugin for Firefox or Chrome browsers that promise to “hide most Charlie Sheen related text and images from your browsing experience.” And couldn’t we all use a little bit of that right now?
Browser plugin aficionados may recognize Leuch’s name as the guy also responsible for the “Justin Bieber-erasing Shaved Biber app,” but now the developer has his sights set on eliminating the terms “winning” and “Tiger blood” from your web browsing experience.
“Sorry Charlie, but it is time to leave the internet and go back to your porn family,” announces Leuch on the plugin’s download page. “Let this be the hangover cure for the #winning buzz from which everyone is still recovering.”

So how does it work? As you can see from the above image of Tinted Sheen applied to the actor’s own Wikipedia page, quite well. The plugins have been downloaded over 8,500 times since launching on Tuesday, and that number is sure to increase the longer this national tragedy drags on.
Our only request: Hey Greg, how about a Safari extension next? We’re dying over here…
